Friends, This very important program was transmitted LIVE...BUT IT IS ON
YOUTUBE FOR ALL TO SEE WHEN YOU CAN.

If you do not have time for the whole thing, be sure to watch the last
1/2 hour with Liz Matos of Prison Legal Services. As you know the
shelter population and the prison-released population are largely the
same people...so much to learn here about coordinating services and the
increased housing being set up for this population and to treat Covid19.

Also, interesting fact: the homeless who refuse to enter shelters, who
continue to live out-of-doors and on the street, have "zero" incidents
of COVID in Boston...which is one reason they refuse to go to the
shelters where the rates of Covid very high. There are 46,000 homeless
on the streets in LA; only 30 got Covid. In Boston "zero" of the street
homeless got covid. In Boston, unlike LA, only 3% of the homeless are
unaltered.
