The Rosenberg Fund for Children (RFC) is excited to announce two
upcoming online events which will focus on Ethel Rosenberg's life and
the campaign to exonerate her. With the June 8th release of bestselling
author Anne Sebba's new biography /Ethel Rosenberg: An American Tragedy
<https://www.rfc.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=6906&qid=2094423>/, Ethel's
history is reemerging in public consciousness, and 70 years following
her conviction it's clear that justice for Ethel matters as much as
ever. We hope you'll join us (virtually) for both of these upcoming
discussions:

Jenn Meeropol on “Exonerating Ethel” for CCB Speaker Series

*Sunday, June 6th at 11 AM EDT, Online*

In 1951, at the height of the McCarthy era, Ethel Rosenberg was
convicted of “conspiracy to commit espionage” alongside her husband
Julius in a trial that would come to symbolize “Red Scare” hysteria and
the U.S.’s willingness to commit injustices in the name of national
security. 70 years later, RFC Exec. Director Jenn Meeropol (and Ethel's
granddaughter) will discuss why justice for Ethel still matters, what
was learned during the 2016 campaign to exonerate Ethel, and the
exciting possibility of a relaunch in the months to come. This online
event is hosted by the Community Church of Boston
<https://www.rfc.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=6907&qid=2094423>. It is free
and open to the public.

Join the live, online event on Zoom (here)

Conversation with Anne Sebba, author of "Ethel Rosenberg: An American
Tragedy"

*Tuesday, June 29th at 7 PM EDT, Online*

Seventy years after her trial, this is the first time Ethel Rosenberg’s
story has been told with the full use of the dramatic and tragic prison
letters she exchanged with her husband, her lawyer and her
psychotherapist over a three-year period, two of them in solitary
confinement. Hers is the resonant story of what happens when a
government motivated by fear tramples on the rights of its citizens.

This online event will include a conversation with /New York Times/
bestselling author Anne Sebba joined by RFC Founder (and Ethel's
youngest son) Robert Meeropol. The event is hosted by Odyssey Bookshop
<https://www.rfc.org/civicrm/mailing/url?u=6910&qid=2094423> and is free
and open to the public via Crowdcast. Please register in advance.
