Boston Area Assange Defense invites you to join us to ‘Rally for Julian
Assange, the Rights of Journalists and a Free Press’ at Park Street Station
from 11 to 12:30.  John and Gabriel Shipton, Assange’s father and brother,
will speak at the rally.  We call on the Biden administration to ‘Drop All
Charges’ and ‘Free Assange’.

There will also be an award ceremony at the Community Church of Boston from
3 to 4:30, where the church will give the Shiptons their Sacco and Vanzetti
award for Julian Assange and hold a discussion of the case, including Zoom
remarks from Ray McGovern.



Come meet the father and brother of award-winning journalist, Julian
Assange, who has been incarcerated at a supermax prison in London for over
two years. Join us as we discuss the truth surrounding the Assange case,
and fight for justice and the freedom of Julian Assange.



The Shiptons are arriving in the US from Australia for a month-long,
country-wide #HomeRun4Julian tour, in their ongoing battle to save Julian’s
life. Julian Assange, founder of WikiLeaks, exposed government war crimes
and is now facing 175 years under the Espionage Act. Assange is a political
prisoner and the U.S. attempt at prosecution criminalizes journalism.

global press freedom & our First Amendment.
