Monday, May 9th at 6:30PM at the Church on the Hill (across the street from the Statehouse)

Join students and workers from all across Boston who are organizing walkouts at their campuses and workplaces on Friday, May 13th to defend abortion rights. We are having a planning meeting tomorrow Monday, May 9th at Church on the Hill in downtown Boston to discuss a concrete action plan for the walkouts.

Only coordinated, organized mass action that threatens the billionaires whose profits we create is capable of beating back this right wing attack on bodily autonomy. The Supreme Court, which ultimately answers to these billionaires, can be forced to make concessions like this if our movement is strong enough. But if we don't, we stand not only to lose the right to an abortion, but much more, including the right to gay marriage and other hard-fought victories.

Over the past few days, thousands of people took to the streets of Boston to defend Roe! And students all over the city are planning walkouts, including at Northeastern University's commencement ceremony on Friday. We will need mass meetings to plan next steps for the movement including direct action and even strikes.
