We are all facing stark climate realities. Climate science reveals alarming evidence that important tipping points have already been reached and the window for action is narrowing.
Join the Center for Effective Philanthropy (CEP) July 14th 2-3:15pm ET for a conversation on CEP’s latest research exploring the disconnect between the views and actions of funders on climate change.
CEP’s new research will be presented by Naomi Orensten, former director, research, at CEP, now senior director of programs and strategies at Dorot Foundation, and Katarina Malmgren, senior analyst, research, CEP.
Following this presentation, Crystal Hayling, executive director of the Libra Foundation, will moderate a discussion with panelists, including:
* Colette Pichon Battle, co-executive director of the Gulf Coast Center for Law & Policy
* Kara Inae Carlisle, vice president of programs at the McKnight Foundation
* Taryn Higashi, executive director of Unbound Philanthropy
Regardless of whether your organization works on climate change or sees climate as outside of the mission scope, this discussion is for you. We hope you will join us next week.
