Decision-makers in Washington don’t hear from local elected officials about nuclear weapons very often. Yet Back from the Brink has demonstrated that when presented with basic facts about the dangers posed by nuclear weapons and common sense policy solutions, local officials will speak out to protect the communities they serve and get us closer to a world free of nuclear weapons.

To date, 240 local elected officials from 39 states have signed our open letter to President Biden and U.S. Congress Members urging bold action on nuclear weapons policy — beginning with the pursuit of a verifiable agreement among nuclear armed states to eliminate their nuclear arsenals.

We're getting ready to deliver the letter next week, and we need your help! In order to have the greatest impact, we want to secure as many signatures from as many states as possible between now and September 20. Here's what you can do:
