The Centre for Research and Advocacy, Manipur (CRAM) promotes indigenous
people's self-determined rights and development over their land, resource
and territory for conservation and management of natural environment using
a human rights based approach to development. CRAM aims to strengthen the
solidarity of Indigenous and Tribal peoples against all forms of
colonization and State repression.

Jiten Yumnam, a journalist , human rights and environment activist from the
state of Manipur will be sharing with his experience and work in Manipur
and across North East region of India. He will also talk about land,
forest, water and community rights over natural resources and discuss on
impacts to local community and environment.
