*JOIN INFORMATIONAL PICKETS WITH PLIMOTH PLANTATION WORKERS ON SAT. NOV.
18 & SUN. NOV. 19!*
Support the Fight for a Fair Contract at Plimoth Plantation!
The workers at Plimoth Plantation unionized as the Society of Allied Museum
Professionals, UAW Local 2320, because of job insecurity, low wages,
dangerously low staffing levels and health and safety concerns.
Plimoth Plantation has employed an anti-union law firm to negotiate on its
behalf. After months of negotiation, it is clear that management has no
intention of reaching an agreement. This is unacceptable.
Join us to the fight for a fair contract for living history workers, Wampanoag
workers at the Wampanoag Homesite, maintenance and other employees at
Plimoth Plantation. This time of the year is their busiest time of the year
so solidarity is especially needed at these upcoming activities:
*WHERE: *Plimoth Plantation entrance, Route 3A, Plymouth, MA
*WHEN:* Saturday, November 18, 11a.m.- 2p.m. and Sunday, November 19, 12
p.m. – 3p.m.
