WE MUST NOT WAIT UNTIL THE BOMBS DROP!
The US empire under Trump is preparing another unilateral military attack against the people of Syria! This attack is based on a false justification humanitarianism and the alleged use of chemical weapons by the Syrian government - a pretext proven to be false on multiple previous attempts by the U.S. to stoke war against Syria.
We have seen these lies time and time again, most recently in the war on Libya in 2011 and the invasion and occupation of Iraq in 2003.
Now is a critical moment to demand U.S. Hands Off Syria!
Working and oppressed people do not need more war based on lies but living wage jobs, healthcare, education, justice and an end to the racist wars at home and abroad!

CLARIFICATION: There will be 2 demonstrations. The first is Wednesday April 11 at 6:30pm in Copley Square across the street from the Boston library. The second will be Thursday April 12th at the same place and same time.
We called two demonstrations primarily because of the developing nature of the recent escalations. We must refuse to wait until the bombs drop or missiles are fired to then lament Trump's action. Trump must stand down and end his escalation in Syria.
The US must remove the thousands of troops stationed in Syria illegally. The US must end its criminal support of the various reactionary mercenary groups that are linked to Al-Qaeda, if not Al-Qaeda themselves. The US involvement in Syria is in violation of domestic and international law, moreover it is a neo-colonial war for "regime change." We saw and remember what happened to Libya, Iraq, Afghanistan, and Yemen. When the US targets a nation for regime change they are not interested in spreading "democracy" and "human rights!"
We hope you can make it out and struggle for the most unity possible to denounce this war based on lies.#HandsOffSyria <https://www.facebook.com/hashtag/handsoffsyria?source=feed_text>
