Chair of the Uhuru Solidarity Movement, and author of “The Roots of 
Racism & Zionism”, Jesse Nevel, travels to Boston to speak at this event 
which calls for the need for solidarity from white Jewish people in 
support of Palestine. As a white Jewish person he will speak about why 
this solidarity is so important today in the crisis of imperialism, and 
why reparations is the way forward for all white people to be in 
solidarity with the self-determination of colonized peoples.

Featuring video presentation by Chairman Omali Yeshitela, leader of the 
African People’s Socialist Party and founder of the Uhuru Movement for 
African Liberation. Since the 1960s, Yeshitela has been organizing 
around the world for the liberation of working-class African people and 
reunification of the African nation. On the topic of international 
solidarity, he says, “We recognize that if there is to be any peace on 
earth, it is going to come as a consequence of our people uniting to 
defeat U.S. imperialism once and for all. It is not enough to simply be 
for peace. We have to be for social justice. We have to be for 
self-determination… for the people of Iraq, self-determination for the 
people of Occupied Palestine, self-determination for the people of 
Colombia… We have to unite with the oppressed peoples of the world. That 
is the only way that we will ever know peace.”
