A Tuba to Cuba is as much a soundtrack to the documentary as it is a 
collection of songs that the Preservation Hall Jazz Band wrote and 
recorded during filming and after the movie’s completion.

The writing and recording of the band’s previous release, “So It Is,” 
began before its first trip to Cuba in 2015. The soundtrack is composed 
of songs from the film, as well as new works.
