The Statewide Harm Reduction Coalition (SHaRC) will meet
 
            Wednesday, June 27th
            6:30pm at the Community Church of Boston, Guatemala Room (3rd
Floor)

CCB is located at 565 Boylston St. In the Copley Sq. section of Boston. 
 
 
We will be picking up the work around House Bill 1723, Petition of Rep. Carl
M. Sciortino, Jr., and others relative to the construction of new
correctional facilities and providing for an investigation of incarceration
and its impact on public safety. 
 
This bill establishes a five-year moratorium on the construction/expansion
of new jails, houses of corrections, and prisons.  It also creates a Special
Commission to determine more effective, less harmful means of ensuring
public safety.
