                  18TH FRIENDSHIPMENT CARAVAN TO CUBA

featuring special guest speaker Luis Barrios.  He is a prominent community leader in New York’s
Puerto Rican and Dominican communities as well as a priest in the Episcopal Church. He recently returned 
from the Dominican Republic. He is also a Professor of criminal justice at John Jay College in
New York City.

                         on Monday evening
                July 2, 2007 from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m.
    at Community Church of Boston, 565 Boylston Street, Boston
       July 26th Coalition and Newton Cuba Solidarity Group
                       are showing the video

       The Power of Community: How Cuba Survived Peak Oil

                   
Since 1992, IFCO has actively challenged the U.S. economic blockade 
of Cuba by its Friendshipments of humanitarian aid. Caravanistas and 
members of local Cuba solidarity groups will be available to answer any 
questions.

There will be informational materials about various aspects of Cuban 
reality.

The program will begin at 7, with snacks, soft drinks, and conversation 
followed by showing of the video, speakers, question and answer period, 
and send-off of the 18th IFCO / Pastors for Peace Friendshipment to 
Cuba.

As always we need your help to make this Caravan a reality.
