The RI Spring Mobilization Committee to End War and
Occupation has many activities planned for the month
of March to decry the end of the fifth year of
occupation. 

To start the month off, Dave Rovics, a nationally
celebrated singer/songwriter will be perfoming at the
Round Top Center at Beneficent Church (300 Weybosset
St.)in Provindence. Dave's engaging music focuses on
antiwar and social justice issues. This event is a
fund raiser to assist the RI Spring Mobe Committee in
its organizing efforts. For example, the recent rally
and march concurrent with Chief Justice Robert's visit
was a RI Spring Mobe action. 

The Rovics gathering is on Saturday, March 1, at 8:00
p.m.  A donation of $10.00 per person is suggested. If
you belong to a group that would like to table at this
concert, generous table space is available for your
literature and merchandise for only $10.00. Snacks and
non-alcoholic beverages will also be available.
