Acclaimed Brazilian fashion designer Zuzu Angel was assassinated in 1976 
because of her constant search for answers to the death of her son, 
Stuart Angel/ /who was captured, tortured, and murdered because of his 
participation in the student's movement that challenged the military 
dictatorship of the 60s and 70s. Zuzu became a leading influence in 
Brazilian fashion and politics for generations to come.
