The High Cost of Healthy Food

What can we do about it?

A forum sponsored by the Massachusetts Public Health Association's Food
and Nutrition Section, the Community Health Network Area (CHNA) 18, and
Healthy Waltham

Thursday, June 12, 2008
6:00 - 8:00 pm

Waltham Public Library

The forum will address the challenges of making fresh, healthy food
available and accessible to all communities.  It will frame the issues
from the global to the local scale, while presenting successful community
models that can be emulated.

Featured speakers include:
* Will Bullock, Urban Agriculture Community Coordinator, Trustees of the
Reservation
* Meg Coward, M.Div, Executive Director, Waltham Fields Community Farm
* Mary Joan McClarney, MS, RD, Director of Food Service, Somerville Public
Schools

The event is free and open the public
