The Arlington Street Church (Boston) Social Action Film Series will by showing the film  Detained: The New Bedford Immigration Raids, on Friday, Oct. 10, at 7 pm, 350 Boylston Street, Boston.

On March 6th, 2007, workers at a New Bedford factory producing vestsfor the U.S. military were arrested in a raid conducted by Immigration,Customs and Enforcement (ICE). Of the 361 undocumented immigrantsarrested that day, the majority were women, many with small children. Detained is a documentary film that follows families affected by theimmigration raid.
