We've got a busy two weeks ahead of us celebrating Earth Day in Boston and
Cambridge! Here's some highlights.

Suffolk University invites you to our Earth Day 2009 Kick-Off
When: Tuesday April 21, 2009 from 6-8pm
Where: Amenities Conference Room, 1st floor, 73 Tremont Street, Boston (2
minute walk from Park Street MBTA station)
As the United States and countries around the world work to address global
climate change, it is essential to understand the role of coal.  Join us for
a viewing of The Appalachians, an informative documentary highlighting the
detrimental impact of coal mining and coal fired power plants.  The film
will be followed by a panel discussion and Q&A session.  Learn how you can
make a difference in this important shift toward a sustainable energy
economy!
Free and open to the public.  Giveaways and snacks will be provided.
Sponsors: Suffolk Sustainability, Sierra Club, Environmental Law Society,
and Suffolk University Environmental Club.  This event is being planned in
conjunction with a Suffolk Environmental Policy & Politics service learning
student team.
