Join us on Wednesday, February 3rd, 2010, at 6:30 p.m. for a
conversation with Carl Davidson: Economic Crisis/Green Alternatives.
Green jobs, cooperative economics, alternative energy, and the
solidarity economy have gained new relevance in the continuing
economic crisis. Notwithstanding tepid signs of recovery, the current
situation calls for a close attention to new ideas. Among the best
placed to evaluate the economic viability of these alternatives is
Progressives for Obama founder, Carl Davidson.
This event surveys on-the-ground projects in light of current
political realities. Carl relates this to the need for collaboration
across movements.
Carl is a national board member of the US Solidarity Economy Network
and Co-chair of Committees of Correspondence for Democracy and
Socialism (CCDS).
The event takes place at 14 Beacon Street, Boston, MA 02108 (Near the
Park Street T-stop/diagonally across from the State House).
This event is co-sponsored by CCDS and the Majority Agenda Project.
