Hi folks! Check out our latest edition of Open Media Boston. And just a
note to say that OMB supporters donated almost $1,000 in June to help
OMB Staff Photographer Diana Mai get a new DSLR camera to replace all
the photo equipment that was stolen from her apartment a few weeks back!
Nice job, all! A couple more donations should get us past $1,000; so
we'll extend our earlier offer to next week - any donations that come in
this week will be added to the Diana fund. And any donations over $35
will still signed up as OMB Cooperators and be granted a voting share in
the OMB Cooperative we're planning to launch soon. Donations over $500 -
which would go a long way to getting us over $2,000 and getting her
enough money to buy the Canon 5D Mark II that she really wants (and
deserves) - will result in the donors' names being inscribed upon our
ultra-special Honor Roll of the Chariots of Fire [bonus points and
membership in the elite Knights of the Circular Object - dare you to
name that even more obscure reference - granted to any viewers that can
name that reference]. To donate, just click the big red Donate button on
every page of http://www.openmediaboston.org/.
