Say NO to Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer when she comes to Boston!
Say NO to anti-immigrant racism!

*Friday: Worksession at 6pm
*Saturday: Volunteer at the protest

Don't let Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer come to Boston without hearing our voices of opposition to the racist law SB 1070! This Saturday, July 10 is the East Coast Protest in Boston during the annual meeting of the National Governor's Association.

Friday, July 9: Worksession at 6pm
The worksession will take place at 33 Harrison Ave. on the 5th floor to make signs for the demonstration (no artistic skills required). Take the T to Chinatown (silver/orange), Downtown Crossing (red) or Boylston (green).

Saturday, July 10:
Gather at Copley Square at 12 noon for a rally followed by a march
*Permits have been obtained for the rally and the march.
*Accessible on the T: Green Line to Copley Square or Orange Line to Back Bay

Volunteers are needed from 9am to 6pm: Look for the sign that says "Volunteers Here." Help is needed with set up before the rally, with various tasks during the rally and march, and with takedown after the march.

***The 12noon rally at Copley Square will feature performances by Rebel Diaz Arts Collective (RDAC BX) members Rebel Diaz, Intikana, Marcel Cartier, Young Rebel and Bliz, who will bring their message of "No Human Being Is Illegal!" to Boston through their groundbreaking hip-hop performances.
