NEWTR's 2012 redirection of war taxes

[My apologies for sending the following notice out a bit late; groups that
are interested in applying for a grant should apply asap, as the deadline
is Mar 15th. – ed agro]

This is to announce this year's New England War Tax Resistance (NEWTR)
awards, and an invitation to your group to apply for a grant.  These yearly
grants, made possible by the refusal of war taxes by our members, typically
run around a few hundred dollars each, and we make them mostly to peace,
justice and social-betterment groups in the Boston area. Because our grants
are small, we prefer to fund groups where a little money would be a
significant help.

If your group is interested in applying, please send an email to Lawrence
Rosenwald <lawrence.rosenwald at gmail.com> asking for PDFs of our grant
guidelines and application form. If you'd rather receive these by postal
mail, please so indicate.

Also PLEASE NOTE: The deadline for submission of applications is March 15th.
