 drafting of the Port Huron Statement, while recruiting Tom Hayden -- because he
 was a good writer -- , who ended up putting the final version together after

i hope you can participate in this experiment in a Global Teach-in,  I  
wish it were in person in Ann Arbor, in Rackham Amphitheater, Assembly  
Hall and West Conference Room, this Wednesday, or streamed, or viewing  
the presentations later from the "globalteachin.com" web site.
 
This is a first time ever effort to compare notes,  in real time, at  
least across the west,  and north and south, trying to learn from the  
actions of the last year or so, to see the local in the global...  and  
give practical definition to "sustainable economy"
These discussions should contribute to the economic ideas for a
