Dear Activists,

The time has come – the time to take on the dirty energy opposition to our
sustainable energy future.

Let's be clear: this battle against the fossil fuel industry, whose wealth
and power have controlled America for far too long, is about a choice: a
choice to build a clean energy future or to repeat the mistakes of our dirty
energy past.

I know you are as concerned as I am. And so I'm pleased to invite you to
join us in attending Bill McKibben's Do The Math tour when he stop at the
Orpheum in Boston on November 15th.

Come see Mckibben’s interactive lecture that picks up where his landmark
Rolling Stone article
<http://action.clf.org/site/R?i=ak_3qetDq1iUk0vttdig_Q> left off—and where
everyone who comes will be asked to join a growing movement that is strong
enough to stand up to the fossil fuel industry.

It’s simple math.

We can burn 565 more gigatons of carbon and stay below 2°C of warming —
anything more than that risks catastrophe for life on earth. The only
problem? Fossil fuel corporations now have 2,795 gigatons in their reserves,
five times the safe amount. And they’re planning to burn it all — unless we
rise up to stop them.

This won’t be your typical lecture.

The event will be an interactive experience, unlike any talk you’ve been to
before. Together we’ll mount an unprecedented campaign to cut off the
industry’s financial and political support by divesting our schools,
churches and government from fossil fuels.

When? November 15th

Where? The Orpheum Theater, Boston

How? Get tickets online
<http://action.clf.org/site/R?i=3sA5TBKvhWrzjuEp6pLKqA> for the bargain
price of $10!

I hope to see many of you there.

Sincerely,
