Navigating Disputes with Homeless Families: Assistance for Schools and School Districts: A Five-Week Online Skills Course
 
What: Participants will learn ways to de-escalate conflicts before they become formal disputes, as well as strategies to conduct a dispute process in a fair and objective manner.We will also discuss the role that trauma plays in shaping one's response to conflict.

Who: McKinney-Vento school liaisons and state coordinators, directors of student services, school social workers, school counselors, and anyone advocating on behalf of children/families within the educational system. 

Where: five online sessions from 1:00-2:15 pm EST 

Trainers: Diana Bowman (NCHE), Christina Endres (NCHE), and Katie Volk (t3)
 
When: Weekly on Thursdays, from January 17 to February 14, 2013
