Tuesday in Copley Square at 7pm!

Join Socialist Alternative and hundreds of other protesters today (Tuesday)
at 7pm in Copley Square to show our outrage at the massacre of the
Palestinian people. We will be distributing a statement from the Committee
for a Workers' International, organizing against capitalism in 45

*2. Meeting: Socialist in Seattle Gets 29% of the Vote, What's Next? *
Kshama Sawant, candidate of Socialist Alternative, received a
ground-breaking 29% of the vote against corporate Democrat and house
speaker Frank Chopp in Washington State.  This clearly demonstrates the
growing openness to socialist ideas and the desire to challenge the big
business policies of both parties.  How can we take the movement forward?
It is time to build a new party for workers and youth? Can we run left-wing
independent candidates in 2013?  Come here more about how Socialist
Alternative achieved this result in Seattle and what ideas we have going
forward.

There will also be shorter discussions on the Nov 14 general strikes in
Europe and the recent attacks on Gaza.
