Stand out to protest the death of Savita Halappanavar, a woman in Ireland
who died due to complications of her pregnancy and was not given an
abortion that was needed to save for life. The laws on the books regarding
abortion in Ireland are archaic, and despite pleas from her and her family,
Savita was allowed to die.

Protests have erupted in Ireland and worldwide in outrage. Come join
activists and workers in solidarity with Savita and her family to show the
Irish Consulate that the violations of the rights of women in their country
do not go unnoticed by the international community and working people
across the world.
