THEATRE OF RELATIVITY
"Isolation," a play by John O'Brien
This year the Theatre of Relativity brings to life another morality play by
the late John O'Brien, our beloved long time Community Church member, head
usher and husband to our senior member Gwen O'Brien. "Isolation" takes place
in a diner and depicts three frustrated people who contemplate aloud what
they feel is lacking in the world, only nobody is listening.
Jason Taylor directs and acts in the piece, along with Joseph Garland and
Michele Markarian, all of whom have worked together on John's plays for
close to twenty years. Miles Taylor is also featured in "Isolation", which
runs about 50 minutes.Afterward will come discussion of the play, then an
open mike to tell some John O'Brien stories, read a few of his poems and
generally remember John.
