Here is an invitation to join some other developers and cooperative
workers for a Movie Night - Please pass it on!

Hello fellow workers, please join us local tech workers as we are
hosting another movie night this Thursday, Nov 19, at 8pm! We will be
watching Made in L.A.

This movie is in Spanish with English subtitles.

Made in L.A. is an Emmy award-winning feature documentary (70 min) that
follows the remarkable story of three Latina immigrants working in Los
Angeles garment sweatshops as they embark on a three-year odyssey to win
basic labor protections from trendy clothing retailer Forever 21. This
movie can also give us a look into how organizing works through a worker
center model, in this case the Garment Worker Center. What might we
learn from this in organizing within our industry?
