The APSP Plenary is the largest annual gathering of the entire Uhuru
Movement where all departments and organizations of the APSP report on
the work they’ve been involved in for the last year and goals for the
new year. The Plenary is where Chairman Omali Yeshitela, leader and
founder of the African People's Socialist Party and Uhuru Movement for
over 50 years, will deliver the brand new 2021 Political Report. This
report is a summation of the victories of the African revolution over
the last year and analysis of the deepening crisis of imperialism
brought on by anti-colonial struggle of African workers around the
world, from the resistance of the murder of George Floyd to the
colonialvirus to the elections. This year’s Plenary will feature reports
from across Africa, Europe, the US, Caribbean, with viewing parties
confirmed across 12 time zones of the planet and a program packed with
cultural performances, panel discussions, virtual vendors, Q&A and
multiple reading sessions of the Political Report including discussion.
The program will primarily be in English and include live translations
into French and other languages upon request.
